We have several important changes and news for 2024.
We have decided not to renew the rental of Little Moss Pond. This decision was taken due to the extremely high rent and the lack of cooperation from the landowner to assist us in carrying out essential repairs etc. The pond will therefore not be available to members from 31.12.23.
We announced earlier in the year that we would be constructing a website and after a few hiccups (mainly due to my broken ankle) I am pleased to announce that the website will go live early in December. Full details of how to log on and guidance on how to negotiate the website are given below.
Please ensure that when you renew your subscription your details i.e., email address etc are correct. Members who do not have an email address or access to a computer can still renew manually. We will send the renewal form by royal mail to them.
It is mandatory that you upload a current photograph when renewing your membership.
We accept that there will be some teething problems with the website. If you have any issues with renewals, match bookings etc. please let us know via the club email address.salfordanglingclub@gmail.com.
The fees for 2024 will be increased by £5.00 for all categories.
The P.O.Box number has been cancelled and any correspondence should be sent to the above address.
We have booked 11 matches for next year, see Matches for more details.
Due to the extremely poor attendance at the club meetings, we have decided to reduce these to quarterly.
Meetings for 2024 will be on the 20th March (AGM), 19th June,18th September.
Details of 2024 work parties will be published on the website.
